Specialty Gas Flow Calibration
Graftel is now offering calibration services for flow meters that are required to be calibrated or tested using specialty gasses. This includes gas flow meters such as insertion, thermal mass elements, turbine, small rotameters and many others.
Graftel can perform calibrations using any of the below gasses:
- Air
- Methane
- Ethylene
- Acetylene
- Hydrogen
- Carbon Dioxide
- Propane
- Argon
- Nitrogen
- Oxygen
- Helium

Other gasses or custom gas mixtures may be available upon request.
Calibrations may be conducted at pressures up to 500 psig, and flow rates up to 1500 slm, (3000 scfh). Testing is performed using our laminar flow elements, and sonic nozzles with a measurement uncertainty of better than 0.5% of reading.
Valve or flow system characterizations can also be performed using these specialty gasses to the same high accuracies.
