Q.
Why should I calibrate my equipment?
A. Calibrating
your equipment is one of the most important things you can do as a
manufacturer. Any measuring device for flow, pressure, humidity,
etc. is there to tell you how much of whatever is being
mixed/added/purged. An incorrect reading can cost you in time,
accuracy, and most importantly, money. For more information as to
why you should calibrate, click
here.
Q. How long does it take?
A. Our times average 5 business days or
less
Q. What does NIST Traceable mean?
A. NIST trace ability means that the standards
we utilize to calibrate your equipment have their respective
accuracy's traceable to the standards in use by The National
Institute of Standards and Measurement in Washington DC.
Q. How much does it cost?
A. Our prices are some of the lowest in the
industry for a fully NIST traceable certificate, this is why we
currently represent some 20+ calibration facilities and over 150
business clients in the US for Flow Calibration. Including
calibration services for the U.S. Nuclear Industry where we got
our start! Contact us today for
more information about our pricing.
Q. Do you have expedite Service?
A. We sure do, contact us for more information.
We offer 24 or 48 Hr. turnaround for a minor premium.
Q. Why don't you calibrate with Oil's?
A. Oil calibration is messy, replete with
odors, and not for the "faint of heart" We used to
offer oil calibrations, but we snapped out of it.
Q. I have a piece of equipment that needs calibration but have
no idea what it is, can you help me?
A. That's what we're here for! Take a look at
our "what can we
calibrate" page, if you don't see a rough visual image
for what you have displayed, simply contact
us and we'll answer your questions. Before you call or e-mail
us let us know what the unit's application is, what medium is
measures (gases/liquids/temperature/humidity) the flow rate, and
any other information on the unit itself. We've worked with
hundreds of familiar and some unfamiliar manufacturers, and we
haven't been "stumped" yet.
Q. What
information do you need before we contact you for calibration?
A. The most important information we need is the
Manufacturer, Model Number, and application. For instance, is the
item used with water or air as its medium.
